Rooms are available from 15:00. Any early check in is possible with a supplement of €5 per hour (e.g. you want to check in at 11:00, the supplement is €20). If you want to check in before 10:00, you will pay the daily rate of the day prior to your arrival. Please note that early check-in depends on our occupancy and cannot be guaranteed. It is always possible to store your luggage in our luggage room free of charge, so you can go straight to the city and start enjoying your stay in Rotterdam. Our reception is open 24/7. If you arrive late in the evening, the door may be closed. If that is the case, you can ring the bell and we will let you in.

XO Hotels Rivium is located in Capelle aan den IJssel, just outside Rotterdam. You can easily reach the city centre by metro or bus in about 25 to 30 minutes. The nearest metro station is Capelsebrug, a 15 minutes walk from the hotel, providing quick access to Rotterdam’s main attractions like the Markthal and Erasmus Bridge. Whether you prefer public transport or driving, getting to and from the city is convenient and straightforward.

The hotel has a private car park. The entrance to our parking garage is at the back of the hotel. The parking rate is €4 per hour, with a maximum of €20 per (consecutive) 24 hours. The maximum height in the car park is 1.85 metres. Parking is based on availability, it is not possible to reserve a parking spot.

We do not sell public transport tickets at XO Hotels Rivium. However, there are several easy ways to purchase tickets for travel in and around Rotterdam: You can buy an e-ticket in the RET app (for bus, tram, and metro) or in the 9292 app (for your full public transport journey across different operators). Both apps allow you to travel using a digital barcode ticket on your phone. You can also use OVpay by checking in and out with a contactless debit or credit card. Most Dutch banks are supported, as well as contactless Mastercard and Visa cards issued by ICS and others. Mobile payment methods like Apple Pay or Google Pay also work.

Do you want to stay in your room longer, for example because your flight leaves late? Late check out is possible, based on availability. The cost of a late check out is €10 per hour after the normal check out time of 11:00. Late check out is offered up to 15:00. In case of a check out later than 15:00, charges for the entire night will apply. It is always possible to leave your luggage with us before arrival or after check out. This is a free service for our guests! TIP: Make sure you book directly with us via email, phone or our website, we only offer the first hour of late check out FREE (until 12:00).
