What is the best way to make a reservation at XO Hotels?
The best way is to book directly through the official XO Hotels website, by email, or by phone. This is recommended because it offers the following advantages:
• Minimum 10% discount on the daily rate.
• The most flexible cancellation terms.
• A free late check-out until 12:00 PM.
• Free cot for your baby up to 2 years old.
• Guaranteed lowest rate (it is always lower than through an online travel agent).
• Direct contact with the hotel team in case of questions.
• No booking fees.
What are the payment options and what is the cancellation policy?
• Payment: Payment for your room is requested when making the reservation. You can pay with a credit card, PayPal, or bank card. Cash payments or payments at the front desk are not accepted.
• Cancellation: The policy depends on the rate chosen:
o Standard Rate (with prepayment): Offers the possibility to modify or cancel the reservation up to 14:00 the day before arrival.
o Non-Refundable Rate: Offers the sharpest price, but the payment is final and no refund is possible. Changes or cancellations are not permitted.
Can I book breakfast as well?
Yes, you can certainly book breakfast! There is a Standard and a Non-Refundable rate with breakfast included. It is also possible to add breakfast at the hotel upon arrival or during your stay. If you want to know what is on the menu, please look here: https://xohotels.com/breakfast-hotel-information/
Can I reserve early check-in or late check-out in advance?
Early check-in is based on availability when you arrive at the hotel and costs 5 Euros extra per hour. Late check-out can be reserved in advance via our booking site. See more info here: https://xohotels.com/check-in-check-out-at-xo-hotels/
Of course! You can call us 24 hours a day at: +31 20 7141090.
There is a 10% discount on the daily price for all direct bookings made via our own booking site, via email and via phone. The discount is already calculated in our offer.
The price is always lower when you book directly with the hotel, than when you book through an online agent/booking website.
The ability to change or cancel a hotel reservation, and the associated fees, depends entirely on two critical factors: How you made the booking and which rate you selected.
You can always find the definitive rules applicable to your stay on the booking website (before you confirm) or on your official booking confirmation.
1. Direct Booking, Standard Rate
• Method: Booked directly with XO Hotels via our official website, e-mail, or telephone.
• Flexibility: This method typically offers the best and most flexible cancellation policy.
• Why? XO Hotels encourages direct bookings and reward guests with superior terms.
• Policy: Free cancellation deadline of 2:00 PM the day before arrival
2. Online Agent Booking (Standard Rate)
• Method: Booked via a third-party Online Travel Agent (OTA) or booking website (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia).
• Flexibility: The cancellation policy for a standard rate booked through an OTA is usually less flexible than a direct booking.
• Why? While a third party may offer competitive prices, their cancellation terms are stricter, sometimes requiring 48 or 72 hours notice, or involving a different process for changes. You must adhere to the OTA's specific terms, an hotel has no influence.
3. Non-Refundable Reservations
• Method: Booked either directly or via an online agent, specifically choosing a rate labeled as "Non-Refundable," "Advance Purchase," or similar.
• Flexibility: These reservations cannot be changed or cancelled.
• Why? These rates are offered at a discounted price in exchange for the guarantee that the hotel receives the revenue regardless of whether the guest arrives. By accepting the lower price, the guest agrees to waive all flexibility.
Minimum one person per room needs to be 18 years or older on the day of arrival.
If you would like to stay with us with a group (six rooms or more), please contact us by email for a suiting offer.

Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is a stylish 4-star hotel in Amsterdam-West, combining contemporary design, comfortable rooms and practical facilities for a relaxed stay. Whether you are visiting Amsterdam for business, attending meetings, exploring the city or travelling by car, you can enjoy spacious rooms of approximately 23–32 m², friendly service and convenient road connections towards the A4, A10 and Schiphol Airport.
Guests arriving by car can use the underground car park, which includes electric vehicle charging points, subject to availability.
Hotel Artemis is particularly suitable if you appreciate modern comfort, a less tourist-focused setting and convenient access to Amsterdam's business districts and attractions. You can reach the city centre by public transport, while Schiphol Airport is approximately 10 minutes away by car in typical conditions.
As part of XO Hotels, Hotel Artemis combines its own distinctive character with the support of an established Amsterdam hotel group. Book directly through the official XO Hotels website to benefit from the direct-booking advantages available for your reservation.
“Hotel Artemis is outside Amsterdam’s historic centre. Am I sacrificing convenience or the Amsterdam experience by staying here?”
Not necessarily. The best hotel for your Amsterdam trip depends on what you plan to do and how you prefer to travel. Hotel Artemis is located in Amsterdam-West, away from the busiest tourist streets, making it a practical alternative if you value modern accommodation, convenient road access and a more business-oriented setting.
You can reach the historic centre using public transport. Tram 2 and metro 51 are accessible on foot, although the stops are approximately 12 and 15 minutes away respectively. Bus 18 brings you within 30 minutes to Central Station Amsterdam.
A small supermarket is just a one-minute walk from the hotel, and there is an italian restaurant next to it.
If your priority is stepping straight out into Amsterdam's historic streets, canals and nightlife, a centrally located hotel may suit you better. However, if you are travelling by car, visiting businesses in Amsterdam-West, attending meetings or combining work with sightseeing, Hotel Artemis offers a convenient alternative.
“Is Hotel Artemis genuinely a comfortable 4-star hotel, or am I paying for design rather than practical comfort?”
Hotel Artemis combines contemporary design with practical features intended to make your stay comfortable. Rooms measure approximately 23–32 m², and the hotel offers an on-site restaurant-bar, meeting facilities and underground parking. Guest feedback highlighted also mentions clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and a smooth check-in experience.
The hotel's design is part of its character, but practical considerations matter too: you have somewhere to eat, a place to work or meet, and parking directly accessible from the hotel. If a particular facility or room feature is important to you, check the details of your selected room before booking.
“Will I need a car to get around, and is parking going to make my stay expensive?”
You do not need a car to stay at Hotel Artemis, but the hotel is particularly convenient if you are driving. Its underground car park is open 24 hours a day, has direct access to the hotel and accommodates vehicles up to 2.10 metres high. The current published rate is €5 per hour, capped at €25 per consecutive 24 hours. Electric vehicle charging points are also available.
You can also explore Amsterdam without driving into the busy city centre. Public transport provides connections to central Amsterdam (bus 18) and the Museumplein area. Consider the cost of parking alongside your transport plans when comparing hotels, particularly if you intend to leave your car at the hotel throughout your stay.
“I have meetings in Amsterdam and need a hotel where I can work comfortably. Is Hotel Artemis a practical choice?”
Yes. Hotel Artemis is particularly well suited to business travellers who value a contemporary setting, meeting facilities, a restaurant-bar and convenient road connections. Its location in Amsterdam-West is useful for business appointments in the surrounding area and for travelling towards Schiphol Airport.
If your meetings are in another part of Amsterdam, check the route and travel time to your specific destination before booking.
“I have an early flight or a late arrival. Is Hotel Artemis convenient for Schiphol Airport?”
Hotel Artemis is a practical option if you need access to Schiphol Airport. The airport is approximately 10 minutes away by car in typical traffic conditions. Public transport is also available: bus 369 connects Schiphol with the area, followed by an approximately 12-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel does not operate its own airport shuttle, so you should plan your transfer in advance, particularly if you are travelling early in the morning or late at night.
“Can I enjoy a relaxing Amsterdam getaway at Hotel Artemis without staying in the middle of the tourist crowds?”
Hotel Artemis offers a contemporary setting outside the busiest parts of central Amsterdam. You can spend the day exploring the city's museums, canals and attractions, then return to your hotel for a meal or a drink at Restaurant-Bar De Stijl. The hotel is a good option if you prefer a modern hotel with practical facilities rather than being surrounded by tourist attractions immediately outside the entrance.
Remember that public transport is part of the experience: the nearest tram and metro stops are within walking distance, but they are not directly outside the hotel.
“Can I charge my electric car at Hotel Artemis, or will I need to find a public charging station?”
Hotel Artemis has electric vehicle charging points in its underground car park, so you may be able to charge your car while staying at the hotel. Bring your own charging card, and there is a cost to pay.
“What if I have a question or need assistance during my stay? Will I be able to reach someone?”
You can contact the hotel team directly about your reservation, arrival arrangements or practical questions about your stay. When you book directly with XO Hotels, you also receive the benefit of dealing with the hotel group directly rather than relying solely on a third-party booking platform.
Special treatment when you book direct
- 10% discount on rates.
- XO Hotels always answers your phone calls and emails.
- Your first hour of late checkout is free, subject to the applicable conditions and availability.
In short: Choose Hotel Artemis Amsterdam if you want a contemporary 4-star hotel with spacious rooms, on-site dining, meeting facilities, underground parking and convenient access to Schiphol and Amsterdam's business districts. If your main priority is walking directly to the historic centre's attractions, compare its location with XO Hotels' more centrally situated properties before deciding.
Hotel Artemis Amsterdam offers several room types for couples, solo travellers, business guests, families and groups travelling together. The main differences are the number of guests each room accommodates, the bed configuration, the available space and specific bathroom features. According to the room information published on the official XO Hotels website, you can choose from the following options.
Standard Twin / Double Room
2 guests · approximately 23 m²
A comfortable choice for couples or two people travelling together. Choose a Twin room with two separate single beds or a Double room with one queen-size bed. The bathroom has a shower or a shower over a bath.
Accessible Double Room
2 guests · approximately 23 m²
Designed for guests who need an accessible bathroom, this room has a queen-size bed and a roll-in shower. If you use a wheelchair or have specific mobility requirements, contact the hotel before booking to confirm that the room's layout and facilities meet your needs.
Triple Room
3 guests · approximately 23 m²
Suitable for three friends or a small family who want to share one room. It has three single box-spring beds and a private bathroom with a shower or a shower over a bath.
Quadruple Room
4 guests · approximately 27 m²
A practical option for families or groups of four who prefer to stay together rather than book two separate rooms. It has four single box-spring beds and a private bathroom with a shower or a shower over a bath.
The standard room, accessible double room and triple room are approximately 23 m², while the quadruple room offers approximately 27 m². All these room types include coffee and tea-making facilities, a mini-fridge, a flatscreen TV, air conditioning and heating, a safe, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and free Wi-Fi.
“Are all the rooms at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam basically the same, or is it worth paying more for an upgrade?”
The main differences are room size, bed arrangement and bathroom layout. If you simply need a comfortable base for exploring Amsterdam or attending meetings, the Standard Twin or Double Room may be all you need. If you are travelling with three or four people, choose a Triple or Quadruple Room so everyone has a proper bed.
“Will I get separate beds if I book for two people, or could we end up sharing one bed?”
You can choose the bed arrangement that suits you best. Book a Twin Room if you want two separate single beds, or a Double Room if you prefer one queen-size bed. If you are travelling with three people, the Triple Room offers three single beds. The Quadruple Room has four single beds for groups of four.
Always select the correct bed configuration when making your reservation. If you have a particular preference, contact the hotel before arrival. Special room requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
“I am travelling with my family. Can we all sleep comfortably in one room, or will we need to book two?”
Hotel Artemis offers Triple Rooms for up to three guests and Quadruple Rooms for up to four guests. These options allow families to stay together in one room, with individual beds for each person.
Extra beds cannot be added to existing rooms. If your family needs more sleeping space, or if you are travelling with more than four people, contact the hotel to discuss booking multiple rooms. A cot can be requested for a child up to two years old, subject to availability.
“Which Hotel Artemis room should you choose if you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair?”
Hotel Artemis lists an Accessible Double Room of approximately 23 m², featuring a queen-size bed and a roll-in shower. The hotel also offers certain additional aids, such as a shower stool and grab rail, which you can request in advance.
Accessibility needs differ from person to person, so do not rely on the room category alone. Contact the hotel before booking to confirm the bathroom configuration, access around the bed and other features relevant to your needs.
“I am travelling alone or on a business trip. Do I need to book a larger room to work and relax comfortably?”
Not necessarily. The Standard Twin or Double Room is approximately 23 m² and includes a desk, seating area, free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge and coffee and tea-making facilities. These features make it practical for working, preparing for meetings and relaxing after a busy day.
You can also explore the hotel's available extras, such as rose petals or a bottle of Cava, to personalise your stay. Check the current prices and availability when booking directly through XO Hotels.
Our recommendation: Choose your Hotel Artemis room according to the number of guests, your preferred bed arrangement and how much space you need. A Standard Twin or Double Room suits most couples and business travellers; the Accessible Double Room caters to specific mobility needs; and the Triple and Quadruple Rooms make it easier for families and friends to share.
Hotel Artemis Amsterdam welcomes a mix of business travellers, conference and meeting attendees, couples, independent travellers, families and international visitors exploring Amsterdam. Its combination of contemporary 4-star accommodation, meeting facilities, an on-site restaurant-bar and underground parking makes it suitable for both business and leisure stays. The hotel's location in Amsterdam-West, with road connections towards the A4, A10 and Schiphol Airport, is particularly convenient for guests travelling for work or arriving by car.
The type of guest you are likely to find at the hotel can vary throughout the year, depending on business events, conferences, holidays and demand for city breaks. Hotel Artemis is especially relevant if you want a modern hotel that combines a comfortable place to stay with practical facilities for work and exploring Amsterdam.
“Is Hotel Artemis mainly a business hotel, or will I also enjoy staying here for a holiday?”
Although Hotel Artemis is well equipped for business travellers, you do not need to be travelling for work to enjoy your stay. Leisure guests can use the hotel as a base for discovering Amsterdam's museums, canals, shopping areas and cultural attractions, then return to a contemporary hotel with an on-site restaurant-bar and comfortable rooms.
The hotel is located outside the historic city centre, so you should factor public transport or driving into your plans. In return, you may prefer its setting if you want to stay away from the busiest tourist streets while retaining access to Amsterdam's main attractions. It is a good fit for travellers who value practical comfort and convenient transport connections as much as a central location.
“Will the hotel be full of business groups during my stay, making it less suitable for a quiet couple's getaway?”
Hotel Artemis accommodates both business and leisure guests, and its meeting facilities make it a suitable choice for conferences and corporate visits. However, the mix of guests varies according to the dates and events taking place in Amsterdam. We cannot guarantee that the hotel will be quieter during a particular period or that business groups will not be staying at the same time as you.
“Is Hotel Artemis suitable if I am visiting Amsterdam for the first time and want to see the main attractions?”
Yes. Hotel Artemis can be a practical base for a first visit to Amsterdam, particularly if you are comfortable using public transport. You can travel into the city to explore its museums, canals and historic neighbourhoods, then return to a modern hotel with dining facilities and parking.
However, if you want to walk straight from your hotel to Dam Square, the canal belt or the main nightlife areas, a hotel in the historic centre may be more convenient. Hotel Artemis is better suited to visitors who do not mind travelling to the main attractions in exchange for its location in Amsterdam-West and its practical facilities.
“I am visiting Amsterdam for meetings or a conference. Is Hotel Artemis a good choice for a productive business trip?”
Hotel Artemis is particularly suitable for business travellers thanks to its multifunctional meeting facilities, comfortable rooms, on-site restaurant-bar and convenient road connections. You can combine meetings with an overnight stay. Its location is also useful for guests travelling between Amsterdam's business districts and Schiphol Airport.
“We want to explore Amsterdam together but prefer a modern hotel away from the busiest tourist streets. Would Hotel Artemis suit us?”
Hotel Artemis is worth considering if you prefer contemporary design, comfortable accommodation and a more removed setting rather than staying in the middle of the historic centre. It is particularly suitable for couples who are happy to use public transport to reach the city's main attractions.
“Can we stay at Hotel Artemis as a family or group, or is it primarily designed for individual business travellers?”
Hotel Artemis welcomes leisure guests as well as business travellers. Its room options include Twin and Double Rooms, Triple Rooms and Quadruple Rooms, allowing different types of travel parties to choose accommodation according to their needs. Families should check the maximum occupancy and bed configuration of their selected room before booking. If your group requires several rooms, contact the hotel to discuss the most suitable arrangement.
“I am travelling from abroad and want a hotel that is easy to reach from Schiphol. Is Hotel Artemis a sensible option?”
Hotel Artemis is a practical option for international visitors who want access to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. The hotel has underground parking with electric vehicle charging points, and its location offers convenient connections to the city's road network.
In short: Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is a versatile choice throughout the year for business travellers, conference attendees, couples, families and visitors exploring the city. Its strongest appeal is the combination of modern 4-star accommodation, meeting facilities and convenient road connections. The balance between business and leisure guests changes with demand, so the best choice ultimately depends on your travel purpose, preferred location and plans for Amsterdam.
Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is located in a modern business district in Amsterdam-West, rather than in the historic canal belt. Depending on your room's position and floor, your view may include surrounding office buildings, residential areas or the wider urban landscape. Some guests have specifically praised the views from higher floors, but a panoramic city view is not guaranteed.
All rooms have windows that can be opened slightly for fresh air. If your view is important to you, let the hotel know your preference before arrival. The reception team will do its best to accommodate your request, although a particular view, floor or room location cannot be guaranteed.
“Can I request a room on a higher floor with a more open view, rather than facing another building?”
Yes. You can contact Hotel Artemis before your stay to request a higher-floor room or a room with a more open view. The team can add your preference to your reservation and will do its best to arrange it, subject to availability on arrival.
Please bear in mind that a higher floor does not automatically guarantee an unobstructed view, and specific room requests cannot be confirmed in advance. If the view is an important part of your stay, we recommend mentioning this when booking directly with XO Hotels.
“I'm planning a romantic getaway. Can I expect a scenic view from my room?”
Some rooms may offer a more open view of the surrounding area, particularly on higher floors, but Hotel Artemis is not a canal-view hotel and does not guarantee a romantic panoramic view. If the view is a priority for your getaway, contact the hotel before booking to discuss your preference.
“Will I have natural daylight and a pleasant outlook while working in my room?”
Hotel Artemis rooms have windows and a desk, allowing you to work in your room with natural daylight. The outlook varies according to the room's location within the hotel. If you prefer a higher floor or a particular orientation for working, you can request this in advance, although the hotel cannot guarantee it.
“If my room faces neighbouring buildings, will people be able to see into my room?”
The degree of privacy depends on the position of your room and its surrounding buildings. As with any urban hotel, we recommend using the curtains when you want additional privacy, particularly after dark when your room lights are on. If you have a preference for a particular room location, let the hotel know before arrival.
In short: Hotel Artemis Amsterdam offers urban views that vary by room and floor, rather than guaranteed views of Amsterdam's famous canals or historic skyline. If you prefer a higher-floor room or a more open outlook, the hotel will do its best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
Check-out at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is by 11:00 AM on your departure day. This gives the housekeeping team time to prepare your room for arriving guests.
If you book directly through the official XO Hotels website, you can enjoy one extra hour of late check-out free of charge, allowing you to stay in your room until 12:00 noon.
If you need more time, you can request a late check-out, subject to availability, for €10 per additional hour. Please arrange this with reception or when making your reservation.
“Do I really have to leave my room by 11:00 AM, even if I have a late flight or want a more relaxed final morning?”
You do not necessarily have to rush out at 11:00 AM. If you booked directly with XO Hotels, your first hour of late check-out is free, so you can enjoy your room until noon.
If you need longer, you can request a late check-out for €10 per additional hour, subject to availability and the hotel's applicable arrangements. Please confirm your extended departure time with reception rather than assuming you can keep your room automatically.
If you cannot extend your stay in the room, you can leave your luggage in the hotel's luggage room free of charge on your departure day. This means you can still enjoy Amsterdam before heading to the airport or travelling home.
“My flight leaves late in the afternoon. Can I stay in my room longer or leave my luggage at the hotel?”
Yes, you can request a late check-out, subject to availability, for €10 per additional hour. If you booked directly with XO Hotels, your first extra hour, until noon, is free. If your room cannot be extended, you can leave your luggage in the hotel's luggage room free of charge and for example explore Amsterdam before travelling to Schiphol Airport.
“Is there any advantage to booking directly with XO Hotels if I want a later check-out?”
Yes. Direct bookings through the official XO Hotels website include the benefit of a free first hour of late check-out, allowing you to stay until 12:00 noon instead of the standard 11:00 AM departure time. You also receive a 10% discount on the daily room rate when booking directly through the official website, by email or by telephone.

“Is the breakfast buffet varied enough, or will I be limited to bread, cheese and a few basic options?”
The breakfast buffet at Hotel Artemis offers more than a basic continental breakfast. Alongside white and brown bread, rolls and pastries, you can choose from several cheeses and cold cuts, cereals, different yoghurt varieties, fruit, vegetables and hot dishes.
If you prefer a cooked breakfast, you can enjoy scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, pancakes and omelettes. Chicken sausages and meatballs rotate daily, while grilled tomatoes with herbs alternate with mushrooms. A selection of juices, coffee specialities, tea and other hot and cold drinks completes the buffet.
The exact selection can vary from day to day, particularly among the rotating hot dishes. If you prefer a lighter breakfast, there are also options such as yoghurt, fruit, cereals and bread.
“I don't eat pork, and I don't want to discover that there is nothing suitable for me at breakfast. What can I eat?”
You can choose from several alternatives to pork products, including chicken breast, chicken sausages when available, eggs, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals, bread, fruit and vegetables. The buffet includes beef cervelat as well as ham and bacon, so you can select according to your dietary preferences.
If you avoid pork for religious, cultural or personal reasons, check the ingredients of individual products with the breakfast team. If you follow a strict halal diet, do not assume that the meat is halal-certified.
“I have food allergies or intolerances. Can I enjoy breakfast without having to guess what is safe to eat?”
Hotel Artemis caters for guests with dietary requirements, and certain products can be provided on request. Gluten-free bread, rolls and ciabatta are available when requested in advance. Soy milk and almond drink are also available at the buffet.
If you have a food allergy or a medical dietary requirement, contact the hotel before arrival to explain exactly what you need. The team can advise you about available products and which items must be ordered in advance. Please note that the buffet includes a range of ingredients, and we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, confirm the arrangements directly with the hotel before relying on a particular item.
“I'm vegetarian. Will I have enough choice beyond bread and cereal?”
Yes. You can choose from several vegetarian breakfast options, including bread and pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, pancakes and omelettes. The buffet also includes spreads such as jam, honey and chocolate spread. The availability of individual hot dishes may vary by day, so you can ask the breakfast team about the current selection.
“I'm vegan or lactose-intolerant. Can I have breakfast at Hotel Artemis?”
Soy milk and almond drink are available, providing alternatives to dairy milk. Vegan cheese can also be requested in advance. Fruit, vegetables and some bread products may suit your preferences, depending on their ingredients.
However, the hotel does not currently offer vegan meatballs or vegan yoghurt, and you should not assume that every bread or pastry is vegan. If you follow a strict vegan diet or need to avoid dairy completely, contact the hotel before your stay so you can confirm which products are suitable.
“Can I eat a gluten-free breakfast, or will I need to bring my own food?”
Hotel Artemis can provide gluten-free bread, rolls and ciabatta on request. Please contact the hotel in advance so the required products can be arranged.
Gluten-free cornflakes are not available, and other buffet items may contain gluten or be subject to cross-contamination. If you have coeliac disease or a serious gluten intolerance, explain your needs before arrival and confirm the handling arrangements with the hotel team.
“Will my children find something they enjoy at breakfast, even if they are picky eaters?”
The buffet offers familiar choices that can suit children, including bread, croissants, mini doughnuts, mini muffins, pancakes, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs and hot chocolate. The variety makes it easier to find something for different tastes and appetites.
If your child has a food allergy or specific dietary needs, contact the hotel in advance to check suitable options.
“Can I have breakfast before an early meeting or a day of sightseeing?”
Yes. Breakfast starts at 7:00 every day. On weekdays, the buffet closes at 10:00, while on Saturdays and Sundays it remains open until 11:00.
In short: Hotel Artemis Amsterdam serves an extensive breakfast buffet with breads and pastries, cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, bacon, pancakes, omelettes, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, vegetables and a wide choice of drinks. Vegetarian choices are available, and selected gluten-free and vegan products can be arranged on request. If you have a strict dietary requirement or food allergy, contact the hotel in advance to confirm the available options.

“I use a wheelchair. Is the room fully accessible, or will I encounter steps, narrow spaces or an unsuitable bathroom?”
Hotel Artemis offers an accessible room option, but accessibility requirements vary from guest to guest. Before booking, contact the hotel to confirm the room's entrance, bathroom layout, manoeuvring space and access to the bed. “Can I request grab rails or a shower seat if I have difficulty standing or balancing?”
Yes. Hotel Artemis offers aids including a wall-mounted grab rail, shower mat and shower stool. Contact the hotel before arrival to request the equipment you need and confirm its suitability for your situation.

“Can I book a suitable room for someone travelling with me who has reduced mobility?”
Yes, you can contact Hotel Artemis to discuss the accessible room option and the specific facilities required. The Accessible Double Room accommodates up to two guests and has a queen-size bed. Before confirming your reservation, explain any requirements concerning wheelchair access, bathroom use, transfers or assistance, so the hotel can help you determine whether the room is suitable.
Our recommendation: If accessibility is essential to your stay, contact Hotel Artemis directly at info@artemisamsterdam.com before booking. Explain your specific needs and ask the team to confirm the room layout, step-free access and bathroom facilities rather than relying on the room name alone.
Yes. Certified service animals are permitted at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, even though ordinary pets are not allowed. XO Hotels' general terms and conditions state that certified service animals are allowed when you provide valid certification, notify the hotel in advance and receive permission.
Service animals are not specified as being restricted to a particular room category. Please contact Hotel Artemis before booking to confirm the arrangements for your specific service animal and room type.
You can reach the hotel at info@artemisamsterdam.com.
“The hotel says pets are not allowed. Does that mean I cannot stay there with my assistance dog?”
No. The hotel's general no-pets policy distinguishes ordinary pets from certified service animals. If you rely on a service animal because of a disability, contact the hotel before arrival to explain your needs and confirm the required documentation and arrangements.
Please do not assume that the hotel's general pet restriction automatically applies to a certified service animal. Equally, advance confirmation is important because the hotel's published terms require notification and permission.
“Can I book a Standard Triple or another room type with my certified assistance dog?”
The hotel's published policy does not identify specific room categories that exclude certified service animals. Contact Hotel Artemis directly to confirm that your chosen room can accommodate your needs and to clarify the documentation required before arrival. If you need an accessible room or particular bathroom facilities as well, explain those requirements when booking.
“Can I stay with my service animal if I also need step-free access or an accessible bathroom?”
You can discuss both requirements with the hotel before booking. Hotel Artemis offers rooms with wheelchair-accessible features and has certain mobility aids available on request. However, the hotel's service-animal policy and your room's accessibility should be confirmed separately to ensure the accommodation meets your needs.
In short: Certified service animals are permitted at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, despite the general no-pets policy. Contact info@artemisamsterdam.com before booking to confirm documentation, arrangements and your preferred room type.
Street parking near Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, at John M. Keynesplein 2, costs approximately €1.72 - € 5.37 per hour, depending on the street you want to park, according to the published tariff table, updated on 15 April 2026. The exact tariff and paid parking hours can vary, so check the signs or the official Amsterdam parking map when you arrive.
Here is how the costs compare:
Street parking nearby €1.72 - € 5.37 per hour
Hotel's underground car park €5 per hour
Hotel's underground car park, maximum per 24 hours €25
The hotel's underground car park is open 24 hours a day, has direct access to the hotel and includes electric vehicle charging points.
“Is street parking really cheaper, and can I leave my car there all day without paying more than the hotel rate?”
Street parking can have a lower hourly rate, but the total cost depends on how long you park and the applicable parking hours.
For example, at €1.72 per hour, 24 hours would cost € 41.28. By comparison, the hotel's underground car park costs €25 for a consecutive 24-hour period. For a short stay, street parking may therefore save you money. If you want the convenience of leaving your car parked for a full day, the hotel's capped daily rate may be worth considering.
Always check the parking signs for the exact location, payment hours and restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
“I'm staying for two or three nights. Is it cheaper to leave my car on the street or in the hotel car park?”
If you plan to leave your car parked for extended periods, compare the street tariff and its paid hours with the hotel's €25 maximum per consecutive 24 hours. Street parking can be cheaper when you only need a few paid hours, but the hotel car park offers direct access to the building and avoids having to find another street space when you return.
“Can I charge my electric car if I choose street parking instead of the hotel car park?”
Charging depends on the facilities available at your specific street parking location. The hotel's underground car park has electric vehicle charging points, making it a convenient option if you need to charge during your stay.
Our recommendation: Choose street parking if you need a space for only a few hours and can find a suitable spot. For overnight stays or greater convenience, compare the total cost with the hotel's €25 per 24-hour maximum.

- By car: The hotel is close to the A4 and A10 motorways and has its own underground car park, subject to availability.
If you are arriving late, travelling with young children or carrying several suitcases, you may find a taxi or pre-booked private transfer more convenient than public transport.
“I land at Schiphol with luggage. What is the easiest way to get to Hotel Artemis?”
You can take a taxi directly to the hotel or use public transport. If you prefer a private transfer, you will need to arrange it independently because Hotel Artemis does not provide its own shuttle. Check the latest public transport connections with bus 218 for your arrival time before setting off.
“Does the lack of a shuttle mean I could get stranded if I arrive late?”
No. You can arrange a taxi to the hotel, and the reception is available 24 hours a day. Public transport options may be more limited at night, so we recommend checking the timetable or arranging a transfer in advance if you arrive very late.
“Can I arrange convenient transport if travelling with children, a wheelchair or heavy luggage?”
You can arrange a taxi or private transfer independently. If you need wheelchair-accessible transport or space for a pushchair, ask the transport provider to confirm the vehicle's suitability before booking. Hotel Artemis does not operate its own shuttle service.
In short: Hotel Artemis Amsterdam does not offer a hotel shuttle, but you can reach it by public transport, taxi or private transfer. If convenience is your priority, plan your airport transfer before arrival.
Yes, the reception at Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can check in late at night or arrive in the early hours of the morning, so you do not need to worry about arriving outside normal reception hours. Your room is guaranteed to be ready from 15:00.

There is no curfew. If the entrance door is closed when you arrive, simply ring the doorbell and a member of the reception team will let you in and help you check in. If you expect to arrive after 23:00, the hotel asks you to inform the team in advance by emailing info@artemisamsterdam.com.
“Can I get help if I arrive late after a flight or an evening out?”
Yes. The reception team is available around the clock, including at night. If you need a taxi, the team can also call one for you.

Hotel Artemis offers a practical alternative, with convenient access from the A4 and A10 motorways and an underground car park directly connected to the hotel.
Parking costs are transparent: you pay €5 per hour, up to a maximum of €25 per 24 consecutive hours. This means you can leave your car at the hotel during your stay without paying more than the daily maximum for that period.
However, a parking space is not guaranteed, as reservations are not possible and spaces are subject to availability. We recommend keeping this in mind if you are arriving at a particularly busy time. The garage has a maximum height clearance of 2.10 metres.
Hotel Artemis is located outside Amsterdam's historic city centre, which can be an advantage if you prefer to arrive by car and continue your journey into the city using public transport rather than driving and parking in the centre.

Yes. Our underground car park has electric vehicle charging stations, allowing you to charge your car while it is parked at the hotel. Availability of both a parking space and a charging point is subject to conditions on arrival.

Hotel Artemis is located outside the historic city centre, so you should allow time for both the walk to the stop and the journey itself. In return, you have convenient access to public transport, the A4 and A10 motorways, and the hotel's own underground car park.

At Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, we understand that a comfortable hotel stay can mean different things to different guests. If you are autistic or have sensory processing needs, factors such as noise, lighting, unfamiliar surroundings and changes to your routine may influence how comfortable you feel.
You can contact our team before your arrival to discuss your individual needs and any room preferences that may help you feel more comfortable. We can make a note of requests for a quieter room or a particular floor, and our reception team will do its best to accommodate them, subject to availability. We will record your preferences and do our best to accommodate them, although we cannot guarantee a completely quiet room or a specific location.
