The hotel is 5,5 km from the Dam Square. With a taxi it takes approx. 15 minutes, with the tram it takes approx. 25 minutes and with a bike approx. 20 minutes.
How do I get from Schiphol Airport Amsterdam to XO Hotels Blue Square?
- Taxi: approx. €50, it takes roughly 20 minutes. Please only take a taxi from the designated area.
- Public transport: Bus 369 to stop Plein ’40-’45 (30 minutes). From here it is 5 minutes by foot to the hotel. Tickets for 1-5 days are sold from the AKO at Arrival Hall 1 at the airport.
Is it possible to go from the XO Hotels Blue Square to the city centre with public transport?
The tram stops are located at 4-6 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Of course we will explain you where to get the tram. The hotel does not sell tickets for the public transportation. You can find more information on where to buy them on the website of the GVB.

- To Dam Square: tram 13 (direction Central Station, 24 minutes) from the stop Slotermeerlaan (5 minutes walk).
- To Leidse Square / Museum Square: tram 7 (direction Azartplein) to Leidseplein (22 minutes) or Spiegelgracht (24 minutes, Rijksmuseum / Van Gogh Museum) from the stop Plein ’40-’45 (4 minutes walk).
To Amsterdam Central Station?
Bus 21 (direction Centraal Station) to Amsterdam Central Station (25 minutes) from the stop Plein ’40-’45.
To RAI Congress Centre?
Tram 13 (direction Centraal Station) to Jan van Galenstraat. From Jan van Galenstraat, metro 50 (direction Gein) or metro 51 (direction Central Station) to Station Rai. From here approx. 7 minute walk.
How do I get to XO Hotels Blue Square by car?
XO Hotels Blue Square is situated close to the highway A10, exit S104. Visit Google Maps to plan your route to the hotel.
The hotel has its own underground parking. The costs are €4 per hour, with a maximum of €20 per 24 hours.
Important info: The entrance of the parking is located behind the hotel. The address of the entrance of the parking is Krijn Breurstraat (end of the street, near nr. 80).
