How far is XO Hotels Park West from the city centre?

The hotel is 4 km from the Dam Square. With a taxi it takes approx. 15 minutes, with the tram it takes approx. 20 minutes and with a bike approx. 15 minutes.

How do I get from Schiphol Airport Amsterdam to XO Hotels Park West?

• Taxi: approx. €50, it takes roughly 20 minutes. Please only take a taxi from the designated area.
• Public transport:
  • Until February 14 due to detour: train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (10 minutes). From Sloterdijk Station bus 15 to Haarlemmerweg stop (1 stop) or 10 minutes walk (follow the tram track).
  • From February 15: train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (10 minutes). From Sloterdijk Station tram 19 to stop Molenwerf (1 stop) or 10 minutes walk (follow the tram track).

How do I get to the city with public transport?

The tram stop is located in front of the hotel. The hotel does not sell tickets for the public transportation. You can find more information on where to buy them on the website of the GVB.

  • Until February 14 due to detour: bus 15 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (direction Sloterdijk,1 stop) or 10 minutes walk (follow tram track), change to bus 22 to Amsterdam Central Station (direction Muiderpoort Station), or a train direction Amsterdam Central Station. From Amsterdam Central Station, Dam Square is a 10-minute walk.
  • From February 15: tram 19 (direction Diemen), change to tram 13 or 17 (both direction Central Station) at stop Marnixstraat.
• To Museum Square/Rijksmuseum:
  • Until February 14 due to detour: bus 15 (direction Station Zuid) to Surinameplein, change to tram 1 (direction Muiderpoort station) to stop Rijksmuseum/Spiegelgracht .
  • From February 15: tram 19 (direction Diemen) to stop Rijksmuseum/Spiegelgracht.

To Amsterdam Central Station?

• Until February 14 due to detour: bus 15 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (direction Sloterdijk,1 stop) or 10-minute walk (follow tram track), change to bus 22 (direction Muiderpoort station), or a train direction Amsterdam Central Station.
• From February 15: Tram 19 (direction Sloterdijk, 1 stop) or 10 minutes walk (follow the tram track). From Amsterdam Sloterdijk a train to Amsterdam Central Station (different directions, 6 minutes).

To RAI Congress Centre?

• Until February 14 due to detour: bus 15 to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (direction Sloterdijk,1 stop) or walk 10 minutes (follow tram track), change to metro 51 (direction Central Station). After this, 2 options: either transfer at Station Zuid to metro 54 (direction North) to Europaplein and then walk 2 minutes, or take metro 51 to Station Rai and then walk 10 minutes.
• From February 15: Tram 19 (direction Sloterdijk, 1 stop) or 10 minutes walk (follow the tram track). From Amsterdam Sloterdijk, metro 50 (direction Gein) or metro 51 (direction Central Station) to Station Rai. From here approx. 7 minute walk.

How do I get to the hotel by car?

XO Hotels Park West is situated next to the highway A10, exit S103. Visit Google maps to plan your route to the hotel. The entrance to our parking garage is next to the hotel, at the end of the building. Costs are €4 per hour, with a maximum of €20 per 24 hours (consecutive hours).

From 18 November – 13 December 2024 the tram rails next to the hotel will be replaced. To create a safe working space, the carriageway will be shifted to the pavement. The hotel will always be reachable and there will be enough room for both cars/busses as pedestrians, but please pay close attention to any diversion signs.

Above ground, we have two charging stations for electric cars (uncovered parking spaces). You will need your own card to activate the charging station.

We have limited parking spaces. It is not possible to reserve a parking space, this is subject to availability. If the parking is full, it is possible to park near Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The reception can give more information.
