| Amsterdam 750th anniversary 20-22 June 2025 | On Saturday 21 June, Amsterdam will celebrate its 750th anniversary with a big party on the car-free motorway A10. This special event brings music, theatre, sports and more – but will also affect traffic in and around the city. From Friday 20 June 9 PM to Sunday 22 June 3 PM the A10 Ring Road (West, South and East) will be largely closed, as will parts of the A2 and A4 motorways, and various streets and bridges in the city. This may cause more than an hour of extra travel time, including to/from Schiphol Airport. Advice: wherever possible, travel by public transport and plan your route well in advance. The hotel is 10 km from the Dam Square. With a taxi, public transport or bike it takes approx. 30 minutes.
How can I get to Hotel Levell from Schiphol Airport?
By taxi?
By taxi it takes roughly 20 minutes, price is approx. €65. Please only take a taxi from the designated area.
- By public transport?
Train to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena Station (14 minutes), then metro 50 or metro 54 (both direction Gein) to stop Bullewijk (1 minute). From here it is 5 minutes by foot.
How can I get from the hotel to Amsterdam Centre?
You can reach the centre with the metro. Metro stop Bullewijk is located at 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel does not sell tickets for the public transportation. You can find more information on where to buy them on the website of the GVB.To the centre?
Metro 54 (direction Central Station) to stop Waterlooplein or Nieuwmarkt.
To Amsterdam Central Station?
Metro 54 (direction Central Station). It takes approx. 17 minutes to reach the Amsterdam Central Station.
To RAI Congress Centre?
Metro 50 (direction Isolaterweg) to Station Rai. From here approx. 7 minute walk.
How can I get to the hotel by car and where can I park?
Hotel Levell is situated close to the highways A2 and A9. Visit Google maps to plan your route to the hotel. Use your navigation with the following details: Hullenbergweg 353, 1101 CP, Amsterdam.The parking is located to the right of the hotel. Costs are €4 per hour, with a maximum of €20 a day. A reservation is not possible, but there are enough spaces for everyone. We have four charging stations for electric cars. You will need your own card to activate the charging station.
