RESERVATIONS

You can reserve with 10% discount through our website, by email or by phone .

Of course! You can call us 24 hours a day at: +31 20 6625792.

There is a 10% discount on the daily price for all direct bookings made via our own booking site, via email and via phone. The discount is already calculated in our offer.
The price is always lower when you book directly with the hotel, than when you book through an online agent/booking website.

The ability to change or cancel a hotel reservation, and the associated fees, depends entirely on two critical factors: How you made the booking and which rate you selected.
You can always find the definitive rules applicable to your stay on the booking website (before you confirm) or on your official booking confirmation.
1. Direct Booking, Standard Rate
• Method: Booked directly with XO Hotels via our official website, e-mail, or telephone.
• Flexibility: This method typically offers the best and most flexible cancellation policy.
• Why? XO Hotels encourages direct bookings and reward guests with superior terms.
• Policy: Free cancellation deadline of 2:00 PM the day before arrival
2. Online Agent Booking (Standard Rate)
• Method: Booked via a third-party Online Travel Agent (OTA) or booking website (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia).
• Flexibility: The cancellation policy for a standard rate booked through an OTA is usually less flexible than a direct booking.
• Why? While a third party may offer competitive prices, their cancellation terms are stricter, sometimes requiring 48 or 72 hours notice, or involving a different process for changes. You must adhere to the OTA's specific terms, an hotel has no influence.
3. Non-Refundable Reservations
• Method: Booked either directly or via an online agent, specifically choosing a rate labeled as "Non-Refundable," "Advance Purchase," or similar.
• Flexibility: These reservations cannot be changed or cancelled.
• Why? These rates are offered at a discounted price in exchange for the guarantee that the hotel receives the revenue regardless of whether the guest arrives. By accepting the lower price, the guest agrees to waive all flexibility.

Minimum one person per room needs to be 18 years or older on the day of arrival.

If you would like to stay with us with a group (six rooms or more), please contact us by email for a suiting offer.

Maximum one child up to 2 years old can stay in the room free of charge. We can, on request, place a cot in the room (free if the room reservation has been made directly with the hotel, otherwise €10 per stay).
For children from 3 years old it is necessary to book and pay for their own bed.

It is not possible to place an extra bed in the room. If, for example, you want to stay with three or four people, it is necessary to book a triple or quadruple room.

That is possible if you have booked directly with us. If you send us an email with all the details of your booking (hotel name, names of guests, reservation number, arrival and departure date), then we can check if we have received the booking.
If you have reserved through a different website, please contact that website for a reconfirmation.

We can email you a confirmation with signature and stamp when you pay the first night of your reservation. This is a non-refundable fee, in case of cancellation of your reservation we will not refund this fee. Contact us by email for more information.

Pets are not allowed in our hotel.

We can make a note of your request for a certain room. The reception will do her utmost to arrange this for you, but can not guarantee this until the moment of arrival.

If you want to explore Amsterdam's world-famous museums, enjoy a central location and stay somewhere away from the busiest tourist streets, XO Hotel Inner is an excellent choice.
This 3-star hotel is located on Wanningstraat, a quiet street in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter, just behind Museumplein. It combines an attractive location with comfortable accommodation and excellent value for money.

Here are some reasons to choose XO Hotel Inner:
- An excellent location for sightseeing: Museumplein is approximately a 2-minute walk away, the Rijksmuseum is around 5 minutes away, and the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum are also within easy walking distance.
- A quieter street in a central neighbourhood: You can enjoy the convenience of staying close to Amsterdam's major attractions without being directly in the middle of the busiest tourist streets.
- Comfortable, well-equipped rooms: Choose from different room types, including triple and quadruple rooms. Rooms range from approximately 16 to 26 m² and feature air conditioning, comfortable beds, a private bathroom, a rain shower, underfloor heating, a desk, television and coffee/tea facilities.
- Excellent public transport connections: The nearest tram stop, Concertgebouw, is approximately a 2-minute walk away. Tram connections make it easy to reach Dam Square, Amsterdam Central Station and other parts of the city.
- A tasty breakfast buffet: Start your morning with a selection of hot and cold breakfast items before heading out to explore Amsterdam.
- Friendly service around the clock: Reception is available 24 hours a day, so you can arrive late or ask for assistance whenever you need it.
- Excellent value for money: You get a 3-star hotel in one of Amsterdam's most attractive neighbourhoods, close to major cultural attractions, without necessarily paying the prices of a hotel directly in the historic city centre.
An additional advantage when booking directly: Reserve through xohotels.com and receive a 10% discount on the daily room rate, free late check-out until 12:00 and direct contact with the hotel team.
XO Hotel Inner is particularly suitable if you want to spend your time discovering Amsterdam rather than travelling long distances between your hotel and the city's main attractions.

"Is XO Hotel Inner really centrally located, or will I have to spend a lot of time travelling to Amsterdam's main attractions?"

XO Hotel Inner is centrally located in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter, making it particularly convenient if sightseeing and cultural attractions are high on your itinerary.

You can walk to several major attractions:
- Museumplein: approximately 2 minutes.
- Rijksmuseum: approximately 5 minutes.
- Van Gogh Museum: approximately 5 minutes.
- Stedelijk Museum: approximately 5 minutes.
- Leidseplein: approximately 10 minutes.
- Albert Cuyp Market: approximately 10 minutes.
For attractions further away, the Concertgebouw tram stop is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Amsterdam Central Station can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by public transport.

You therefore do not need to stay directly beside Dam Square to enjoy a convenient base for exploring Amsterdam.

"Is XO Hotel Inner actually quiet, or will I be surrounded by tourists, traffic and nightlife?"

One of the advantages of XO Hotel Inner is its location on Wanningstraat, a relatively quiet street behind Museumplein.
Unlike hotels directly on Amsterdam's busiest shopping streets or nightlife areas, you stay in a neighbourhood with a more residential atmosphere while remaining within walking distance of the main museums, restaurants and attractions.
However, a central Amsterdam location does not guarantee complete silence. Street activity and other hotel guests can still create some noise. If you are a particularly light sleeper, we recommend mentioning your preference for a quieter room when booking.

"Is XO Hotel Inner a budget hotel where I have to compromise on comfort?"

XO Hotel Inner is a 3-star hotel, which means its focus is on providing comfortable, practical accommodation at an attractive price rather than offering extensive luxury facilities.
You can expect comfortable beds, air-conditioned rooms, private bathrooms with rain showers, underfloor heating, Nespresso coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi.
The hotel is particularly attractive if you would rather spend your budget on experiencing Amsterdam while still enjoying a comfortable room in a very convenient location.
It is important to choose the right room type for your needs, as room sizes range from approximately 16 to 26 m².

"Why should I choose XO Hotel Inner instead of a hotel directly in Amsterdam's historic city centre?"

It depends on what you want from your visit. If your priority is stepping directly into the busiest shopping streets, nightlife areas and historic attractions, a hotel near Dam Square may be more suitable.
However, if you are particularly interested in Amsterdam's museums, architecture, restaurants and neighbourhood atmosphere, XO Hotel Inner offers a different advantage.
You stay close to Museumplein, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, while enjoying a location away from the busiest streets of the historic centre. You can still reach Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station conveniently by public transport.
For many visitors, this is an attractive balance between location, comfort and value for money.

"What if I arrive late or need assistance during the night?"

You do not have to worry about arriving during normal office hours. XO Hotel Inner has a 24-hour reception, so there is always someone available to assist you.
Whether you arrive late from Schiphol Airport, have a question about your room or need practical information during your stay, you can speak to the reception team at any time.

"I am visiting Amsterdam mainly for its museums. Is XO Hotel Inner a good base for exploring the Museum Quarter?"

Absolutely! XO Hotel Inner is particularly well located for museum lovers. Museumplein is approximately a 2-minute walk away, giving you easy access to Amsterdam's most famous cultural attractions, including:
- Rijksmuseum – Dutch art and history, including works by Rembrandt and Vermeer.
- Van Gogh Museum – The world's largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh.
- Stedelijk Museum – Modern and contemporary art and design.
- Concertgebouw – One of the world's renowned concert halls.
You can comfortably walk back to your hotel after a morning or afternoon exploring the museums, without having to rely on public transport for every journey.
For families travelling with children

"Is XO Hotel Inner suitable for families, or are the rooms too small when travelling with children?"

XO Hotel Inner welcomes families and offers triple and quadruple rooms, making it possible to accommodate families travelling together.
Rooms range from approximately 16 to 26 m², depending on the room type. We recommend checking the exact occupancy and bed configuration before booking to ensure that the room suits your family.
The location is also convenient for families who want to explore Amsterdam's museums, visit Vondelpark or discover the city by tram.
When booking directly with XO Hotels, you can also request a complimentary baby cot for a child up to 2 years old, subject to availability and applicable conditions.

"Is XO Hotel Inner a good choice for a romantic weekend in Amsterdam?"

Yes! XO Hotel Inner offers a convenient base for couples who want to discover Amsterdam together.
You can start your day with breakfast at the hotel, walk to the museums at Museumplein, explore the boutiques and cafés in the surrounding neighbourhood and enjoy dinner at one of Amsterdam's many restaurants. Leidseplein, with its restaurants, theatres and nightlife, is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
The hotel's location on a quieter street also offers a pleasant alternative to staying directly in the busiest tourist areas.

"Can I stay near Amsterdam's most famous museums without paying luxury hotel prices?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner is a 3-star hotel in an excellent Museum Quarter location, offering an alternative to more expensive accommodation options in Amsterdam.
You can walk to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Museumplein in just a few minutes while benefiting from comfortable rooms and practical facilities.
To get even better value, book directly through xohotels.com. Direct reservations receive a 10% discount on the daily room rate and free late check-out until 12:00.

"Is XO Hotel Inner suitable for a business trip, or is it mainly a hotel for tourists?"

Although XO Hotel Inner is particularly popular with visitors exploring Amsterdam's museums and cultural attractions, it can also be a practical choice for business travellers.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, a desk and coffee facilities, allowing you to work or prepare for meetings in your room.
Its location near Museumplein also provides convenient tram connections to other parts of Amsterdam. If you prefer staying in a neighbourhood with restaurants and cafés nearby rather than directly in a business district, XO Hotel Inner is worth considering.

"Can I easily reach XO Hotel Inner from Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Central Station?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner is accessible by public transport from both Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Central Station.
From Schiphol Airport, you can take the direct bus 397 towards Museumplein and walk to the hotel from there. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take tram 12 towards the Museum Quarter. The nearest tram stop, Concertgebouw, is approximately a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
This makes XO Hotel Inner a convenient choice if you are visiting Amsterdam without a rental car.

XO Hotel Inner in Amsterdam offers six different room types, accommodating between one and four guests. Whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, with friends or with your family, you can choose a room based on the number of guests, available space, bed arrangement and your preference for natural daylight.
The hotel offers standard rooms, family rooms, basement rooms and rooms without windows. Understanding these differences helps you choose the right room for your stay.

Here is an overview:
Room type, Size, Max. nr. of Guests, Bed arrangement
Standard Twin/Double Room: 12 m² , 2 Two single beds or one queen-size bed
Triple Room: 20 m², 3, Three single beds
Quadruple Room: 25 m², 4, Four single beds
Double Room – Basement: 20 m², 2, Two single beds
Double Room – Without Window: 15 m², 2, Two single beds in most rooms; one double-bed room
Single Room: 8 m², 1, One single bed
Single Room – Basement: 10 m², 1, One single bed

"What is included in all room types?"

Regardless of which room you choose, you benefit from practical facilities designed for a comfortable stay:
- Comfortable box-spring beds.
- Private bathroom with a walk-in rain shower and hand shower.
- Air conditioning and heating.
- Free high-speed Wi-Fi.
- Flat-screen television.
- Coffee and tea-making facilities.
- Safe, hairdryer and toiletries.
- Towels and bed linen.

"Are the cheaper rooms at XO Hotel Inner significantly smaller or less comfortable than the standard rooms?"

Not necessarily. The main differences between the room categories are their size, location within the hotel and access to natural daylight.
The Standard Twin/Double Room measures 12 m² and offers a comfortable private room for two guests. The basement double room is larger at 20 m², while the room without a window measures 15 m².
All these room types include a private bathroom, comfortable beds, air conditioning, coffee and tea facilities and free Wi-Fi.
If you value natural daylight, we recommend choosing a standard room rather than a basement or windowless room. If your priority is getting good value for money and you mainly need a comfortable place to sleep after exploring Amsterdam, the alternative room categories may be worth considering.

"What is the difference between a basement room and a room without a window? Will I feel comfortable staying there?"

There is an important difference:
- Basement rooms: These rooms are located below street level. They offer a private, comfortable environment but do not provide the same views and daylight experience as a conventional above-ground room.
- Rooms without windows: These rooms have no external window and therefore no natural daylight. They are designed for guests who prioritise practical accommodation and value for money over a view or daylight.
Both room types include air conditioning, heating, a private bathroom and the usual room amenities.

If natural daylight, a view outside or a feeling of openness is important to you, we recommend booking a standard room instead.

"Can I choose between a double bed and two separate beds?"

Yes! The Standard Twin/Double Room offers two different sleeping arrangements:
- Twin Room: Two separate single beds, ideal for friends or colleagues travelling together.
- Double Room: One queen-size bed, ideal for couples who prefer to share a bed.
The other room categories have their own designated bed configurations. The Triple Room has three single beds, while the Quadruple Room has four single beds.
If your preferred bed arrangement is important, please specify it when booking and check your reservation confirmation.

"Are the Triple and Quadruple Rooms suitable for families, or will they feel cramped?"

XO Hotel Inner offers dedicated rooms for three and four guests, so families do not need to squeeze additional people into a standard double room.
- The Triple Room measures 20 m² and has three separate single beds.
- The Quadruple Room measures 25 m² and has four separate single beds.
These rooms allow families or groups of friends to stay together while everyone has their own bed.

However, remember that you will share the same room and bathroom. If you prefer more personal space or privacy, booking two separate rooms may be a better option.

"Will I miss out on anything important if I book a room without a window?"

The main difference is the absence of natural daylight and an outside view. You still have a private bathroom, comfortable beds, air conditioning, heating, television, coffee and tea facilities and free Wi-Fi.

For guests who spend most of their day sightseeing, shopping or visiting museums, a windowless room can be a practical and more economical choice.

However, if you enjoy waking up to daylight or prefer being able to look outside, we recommend selecting a room with a window.

"I am travelling alone. Do I really need to pay for a double room, or does XO Hotel Inner offer single rooms?"

You do not need to book a double room when travelling alone. XO Hotel Inner offers two single-room options:
- The Single Room measures 8 m² and has one comfortable single bed.
- The Single Room – Basement measures 10 m² and also has one single bed.
Both offer a private bathroom, coffee and tea facilities, television and free Wi-Fi.

These rooms are practical choices if you want your own private accommodation without paying for space intended for two people.

"Which room should we book if we want to share a comfortable double bed?"

The Standard Double Room is the best choice if you prefer sharing one queen-size bed. It offers a private bathroom, comfortable bedding, coffee and tea facilities and free Wi-Fi.
If you are considering a lower-priced alternative, check the bed configuration carefully, as the windowless double rooms and basement double rooms generally have two separate single beds.

"Which room should we choose if we are travelling with two or three children?"

XO Hotel Inner offers two family-friendly room categories:
- Triple Room: Suitable for up to three guests, with three separate single beds.
- Quadruple Room: Suitable for up to four guests, with four separate single beds.
The Quadruple Room is the appropriate option for a family of four who want to stay together in one room.

Children aged three and older count towards the room's maximum occupancy and require their own designated bed. Babies up to two years old can stay free of charge in their parents' room, subject to the applicable conditions. A baby cot can be requested in advance, this is free of charge for our direct booking guests. Please note that there are no extra beds available.

"Can three or four friends each have their own bed at XO Hotel Inner?"

Yes! Unlike hotels that accommodate additional guests using temporary folding beds, XO Hotel Inner offers dedicated room categories with separate sleeping arrangements.
The Triple Room has three single beds, while the Quadruple Room has four single beds.
This allows everyone to have their own sleeping space without having to share a double bed.

"Which room should I choose if I do not want to sleep in a basement or a windowless room?"

We recommend booking the Standard Twin/Double Room, Triple Room or Quadruple Room if having a conventional room with natural daylight is important to you.

The basement rooms are situated below street level, while the windowless double rooms do not have external windows.

If daylight, ventilation preferences or having a view outside are important considerations for your comfort, make sure you select a room category that meets those needs before completing your reservation.

The hotel welcomes guests throughout the year, rather than focusing on one particular season or type of traveller.

"Is XO Hotel Inner mainly for tourists, or will I also feel comfortable staying there for business?"

XO Hotel Inner welcomes both leisure and business travellers. Although its location near Museumplein makes it particularly popular with visitors interested in Amsterdam's cultural attractions, it is also a practical base for business trips.
You benefit from free Wi-Fi, comfortable accommodation, a desk in your room and convenient public transport connections. The nearby Concertgebouw tram stop makes it easy to reach other parts of Amsterdam.
If you are travelling for business but would also like to explore Amsterdam after work, XO Hotel Inner offers a convenient combination of both.

"Is XO Hotel Inner mainly suitable for couples, or can families and groups of friends stay comfortably too?"

Not at all. XO Hotel Inner is not exclusively a hotel for couples. It welcomes different types of travellers and offers several room categories, including single, double, triple and quadruple rooms.
Families and groups of friends can choose a room with separate beds, while couples can opt for a double room. This flexibility makes the hotel suitable for different travel arrangements and budgets.
Please check the maximum occupancy and bed configuration of your chosen room before booking, as extra beds cannot be added to the rooms.

"Will I feel out of place if I am travelling alone?"

Absolutely not. Solo travellers are welcome at XO Hotel Inner. The hotel offers single rooms, making it possible to enjoy private accommodation without having to book a larger room intended for two people.
Its location near Museumplein is particularly convenient if you enjoy exploring museums, cafés, shops and Amsterdam's neighbourhoods independently.
With a 24-hour reception, you can also count on assistance whenever you need it.

"Is XO Hotel Inner a good choice outside the main tourist season?"

Yes. Amsterdam is a year-round destination, and XO Hotel Inner welcomes guests throughout the year.
During spring and summer, you can enjoy the museums, outdoor cafés, Vondelpark and the city's many cultural activities. In autumn and winter, the nearby museums, galleries, restaurants and concert venues provide plenty of opportunities to explore Amsterdam indoors.
The hotel's location in the Museum Quarter makes it an attractive option regardless of the season.

"Is XO Hotel Inner a good choice for a romantic weekend or short city break?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner is particularly suitable for couples who want to discover Amsterdam's museums, restaurants, shops and cultural attractions.
You can walk to Museumplein and the Rijksmuseum in just a few minutes, explore the surrounding neighbourhood and enjoy an evening around Leidseplein. Its location on a quieter street also offers an alternative to staying directly in the busy historic centre.

"Will XO Hotel Inner accommodate families visiting Amsterdam during school holidays?"

Yes. Families are welcome throughout the year, including during Dutch and international school holidays.
The hotel offers Triple and Quadruple Rooms, allowing families to stay together rather than booking separate rooms. The Quadruple Room is particularly practical for families of four, with four individual beds.
You can also request a baby cot for a child up to two years old. When booking directly with XO Hotel Inner, the cot is provided free of charge, subject to availability.

"Do international visitors feel welcome at XO Hotel Inner, even if they have never visited Amsterdam before?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner welcomes international guests from around the world, whether they are visiting Amsterdam for the first time or returning to discover more of the city.
The 24-hour reception team can assist you with practical questions during your stay. The hotel's location is particularly convenient for international visitors interested in Amsterdam's museums, cultural attractions and neighbourhoods.

"Is XO Hotel Inner particularly suitable if I am visiting Amsterdam for its museums, exhibitions and cultural events?"

Absolutely. This is one of the hotel's strongest advantages. XO Hotel Inner is located within walking distance of Amsterdam's Museum Quarter, including:
- Rijksmuseum
- Van Gogh Museum
- Stedelijk Museum
- Concertgebouw
- Museumplein
You can visit several major cultural attractions without needing to use public transport for every journey. This makes the hotel particularly convenient for art lovers, museum enthusiasts and visitors attending concerts or cultural events.

"Will I find other business travellers at XO Hotel Inner, or is it primarily a leisure hotel?"

You will find that XO Hotel Inner accommodates both leisure and business travellers. Its central location and public transport connections make it a practical choice for business visitors who want to stay in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter.
The rooms offer free Wi-Fi and a desk, providing a convenient place to prepare for meetings or catch up on work.

"Is XO Hotel Inner suitable if I have visited Amsterdam several times and want to experience a different neighbourhood?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner is an excellent option if you want to experience Amsterdam from a different perspective. Instead of staying directly around Dam Square or Central Station, you can discover the Museum Quarter and its surrounding neighbourhoods. Enjoy local cafés, restaurants, cultural attractions and the nearby Vondelpark while remaining well connected to the rest of the city.

"Is XO Hotel Inner a good choice for a winter city break in Amsterdam?"

Yes. The Museum Quarter is particularly attractive during the colder months because many of Amsterdam's best-known cultural attractions are close together. You can spend your days visiting the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum, enjoy concerts at the Concertgebouw and return to your hotel without lengthy journeys across the city.
The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with heating, comfortable beds and private bathrooms, providing a practical place to relax after a day exploring Amsterdam.

XO Hotel Inner is located on Wanningstraat, a relatively quiet street in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter, just behind Museumplein. The views from your room depend on the room type, its position within the hotel and the floor on which it is located.
Unlike hotels overlooking large squares or famous city landmarks, XO Hotel Inner is situated in a more intimate urban neighbourhood. Depending on your room allocation, you may look out towards the surrounding streets, neighbouring buildings or the hotel's immediate surroundings.
It is important to know that not every room has an external window:
- Standard rooms: Have windows and natural daylight, with views of the surrounding urban neighbourhood.
- Basement rooms: Located below street level, so they do not offer the same outlook as conventional above-ground rooms.
- Rooms without windows: Have no external windows and therefore no natural daylight or outside view.
If having a particular view, a higher floor or a quiet room is important to you, you can mention your preference when booking. The reception team will do its best to accommodate your request, although specific room allocations cannot be guaranteed in advance.

"Will I have a nice view of Amsterdam from my hotel room, or will I be looking directly at another building?"

XO Hotel Inner is situated in a built-up residential neighbourhood, rather than overlooking a large park, canal or famous Amsterdam landmark. Depending on your room's position, you may look out onto Wanningstraat, neighbouring buildings or the surrounding urban environment.
If a panoramic city view is an important part of your hotel experience, XO Hotel Inner may not be the ideal choice. Its main attraction is its location close to Museumplein and Amsterdam's major museums, rather than spectacular room views.
If you prefer natural daylight, we recommend booking a standard room rather than a basement or windowless room.

"Are all rooms at XO Hotel Inner equipped with windows, or could I end up in a room without daylight?"

No, not all rooms have windows. XO Hotel Inner offers specific room categories without external windows, as well as basement rooms.
If natural daylight is important to you, make sure you select a room category with windows when making your reservation. A basement room and a room without windows are different room categories, so check the description carefully before booking.

"Can I request a room overlooking a quiet street or on a higher floor?"

Yes. You can communicate your preferences to XO Hotel Inner before arrival. The reception team can add requests such as a higher floor, a quieter room or a particular view to your reservation.
The team will do its best to accommodate your wishes, but room preferences cannot be guaranteed and depend on availability at the time of arrival.

"I don't like staying in dark hotel rooms. Which room should I book at XO Hotel Inner?"

We recommend choosing a standard room with an external window. XO Hotel Inner also offers basement rooms and rooms without windows, which are not suitable if natural daylight is essential to your comfort.
Please check the exact room category before completing your reservation to avoid booking a room without the type of daylight you prefer.

"Can I request a room with a quiet view away from street noise?"

Yes. XO Hotel Inner is situated on a relatively quiet street behind Museumplein, away from some of Amsterdam's busiest tourist streets.
You can request a quieter room when booking, and the reception team will do its best to accommodate your preference. However, the hotel cannot guarantee a particular room location or complete silence.

"Can I open my hotel room window to enjoy fresh air and look outside?"

In most rooms at XO Hotel Inner, the windows can be opened slightly to let in fresh air. However, some rooms have windows that cannot be opened.
If being able to open a window is important to you, please mention this when booking. The hotel can register your preference, although it cannot guarantee a particular room assignment.

The standard check-out time at XO Hotel Inner is before 11:00 AM (11:00) on your departure day.
If you book directly through www.xohotels.com, by email or by telephone, you receive an additional benefit: the first hour of late check-out, until 12:00 noon, is free of charge.
This gives you extra time to enjoy breakfast, pack your luggage and get ready for your journey home without rushing.
If you need even more time, late check-out until 2:00 PM is possible, subject to availability, at €10 per additional hour after 11:00 AM.
You can also leave your luggage free of charge in the hotel's luggage room on your departure day, allowing you to continue exploring Amsterdam after checking out.

"What happens if I don't check out by 11:00 AM? Will I automatically be charged extra?"

The standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. If you need more time, please contact reception to arrange a late check-out.
Late check-out is subject to availability and costs €10 per additional hour. If you book directly with XO Hotel Inner, you receive the first hour free, allowing you to stay until 12:00 noon.
Please arrange any additional time with reception rather than assuming that you can remain in your room beyond the standard check-out time.

"Can I enjoy a relaxed morning and have breakfast without worrying about checking out immediately afterwards?"

Absolutely! You can enjoy breakfast before checking out. If you book directly with XO Hotel Inner, you also benefit from free late check-out until 12:00 noon.
This gives you more flexibility to enjoy your final morning in Amsterdam, finish packing and leave without feeling rushed.

"What if my flight or train leaves much later in the day? Do I have to carry my luggage around Amsterdam?"

No. You can leave your luggage free of charge in the hotel's luggage room on your departure day.
This means you can check out, store your bags safely and enjoy a few more hours exploring Amsterdam before heading to the airport or train station.

"Do I get free late check-out if I reserve directly with XO Hotel Inner?"

Yes! When you book directly through the XO Hotels website, by email or by telephone, you receive the first hour of late check-out free of charge, until 12:00 noon.
This is one of the advantages of booking directly with XO Hotels.

"Can I stay in my room until the afternoon if my flight leaves late?"

Late check-out until 2:00 PM is possible, subject to availability. The cost is €10 per hour after the standard 11:00 AM check-out time. Direct bookings include the first hour free, until 12:00 noon.
If you need to stay beyond 2:00 PM, an additional night's charge may apply. Alternatively, you can leave your luggage free of charge and enjoy Amsterdam before travelling to the airport.

"Can my family have extra time to get ready before leaving XO Hotel Inner?"

Yes. If you book directly, you can stay in your room until 12:00 noon without an additional charge. This extra hour can be particularly helpful when travelling with children, as it gives you more time to organise luggage and prepare for departure.

If you need additional time, please ask reception about availability and applicable charges.

XO Hotel Inner does not have specially adapted rooms for guests with reduced mobility or wheelchair users. The hotel does have an elevator, but please be aware that not all guest rooms are accessible by elevator.
If you have difficulty walking, use a walking aid or wheelchair, we recommend contacting XO Hotel Inner before making your reservation. Our reception team will be happy to discuss your specific requirements and explain which rooms and access routes may be suitable for you.
We want you to know exactly what to expect before arriving, so you can choose accommodation that makes your stay in Amsterdam as comfortable as possible.

"I have limited mobility. Will I have to climb stairs to reach my room at XO Hotel Inner, even though the hotel has an elevator?"

We understand that having an elevator does not automatically mean a hotel is fully accessible. At XO Hotel Inner, an elevator is available, but due to the layout of the building, not all rooms can be reached directly by elevator.
This means that some rooms may require you to use stairs to reach them. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a completely step-free route to every room, and XO Hotel Inner does not have specially adapted bathrooms or wheelchair-accessible rooms.
If you have difficulty climbing stairs or need wheelchair access, please contact us before booking. By explaining your mobility requirements, you give our team the opportunity to check the available options and help you determine whether XO Hotel Inner is suitable for your needs.
We prefer to be transparent about these limitations rather than have you arrive and discover that the room does not meet your accessibility requirements.

"Can I stay at XO Hotel Inner if I use a wheelchair?"

If you use a wheelchair, we recommend contacting us before booking to discuss your requirements. "I can walk independently, but climbing stairs is difficult for me. Can I request a room close to the elevator?"

"Can I bring a walking frame, rollator or other mobility aid to XO Hotel Inner?"

Yes, you can bring your own mobility aid. However, the hotel's layout and the fact that not all rooms are accessible by elevator may affect how comfortably you can reach your room. The nearest tram and bus stops are only a few minutes away on foot. This makes it easy to explore Amsterdam without renting a car or relying on taxis.
An additional advantage is the direct connection to Amsterdam Central Station via tram 24. You can also take bus 397 directly from Schiphol Airport to the Museum Quarter.
For current routes, departure times and possible service changes, you can use the official GVB journey planner.

"Are the public transport stops close enough if I am travelling with children or a pushchair?"

Yes. The Concertgebouw tram stop is approximately 2 minutes' walk from the hotel, so you do not need to walk far with children or luggage. Please note that the GVB currently lists the Concertgebouw tram stop as not wheelchair accessible, so guests requiring step-free boarding should check alternative stops and services in advance.

"Can I travel directly from Schiphol Airport to XO Hotel Inner without changing buses or trains?"

Yes. Bus 397 connects Schiphol Airport with the Museum Quarter. Get off near Museumplein or the Concertgebouw and walk a short distance to the hotel. This is particularly convenient if you are unfamiliar with Amsterdam's public transport system.

"Can I easily reach Amsterdam's museums, shopping areas and historic city centre by public transport?"

Absolutely. From the nearby Concertgebouw stop, tram 24 takes you towards Leidseplein, the canals, Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station. Several museums, including the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, are also within walking distance of the hotel.

"Can I reach Amsterdam Zuid, the RAI Convention Centre and other business districts easily?"

Yes. Tram 5 from Concertgebouw connects you with Amsterdam Zuid, where you can transfer to other public transport services. You can also reach the RAI using the metro from Station Zuid.

At XO Hotel Inner, we understand that a comfortable hotel stay can mean different things to different people. If you are autistic or have sensory processing sensitivities, factors such as noise, lighting, unfamiliar surroundings and unexpected changes can make a significant difference to your experience.
XO Hotel Inner is situated on Wanningstraat, a relatively quiet street in Amsterdam's Museum Quarter, away from some of the busiest tourist areas.
Although the hotel does not have dedicated autism-friendly rooms or specialist sensory facilities, there are several practical aspects you can consider when planning your stay:
- Quieter room preferences: You can request a room in a quieter location when booking. Our reception team will note your preference and do its best to accommodate it, subject to availability. A specific room location cannot be guaranteed.
- Room environment: All rooms have air conditioning and heating, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your personal comfort.
- Room types and natural light: XO Hotel Inner offers standard rooms, basement rooms and rooms without windows. If natural daylight or a view outside is important to you, we recommend choosing a standard room. If limiting exposure to changing daylight is preferable, you may wish to consider a room without a window, although this means having no natural daylight at all.
- Familiarity before arrival: You can contact the hotel in advance to ask about the building, room types, check-in arrangements and what to expect during your stay.
- Assistance whenever needed: Reception is available 24 hours a day, so you can ask for assistance at any time.
We encourage you to tell us about your individual requirements before making a reservation. This allows us to explain what we can realistically offer and helps you decide whether XO Hotel Inner is the right accommodation for your needs.

"I'm autistic and sensitive to noise, bright lights and unexpected situations. Can I feel comfortable and safe staying at XO Hotel Inner?"

We understand that staying in an unfamiliar hotel environment can be challenging, particularly when you are sensitive to sensory stimulation or changes in your daily routine.
We want to be transparent: XO Hotel Inner is a regular city hotel, not a specialised autism-friendly or sensory-friendly hotel. We cannot guarantee a completely quiet environment, controlled lighting, reduced sensory stimulation or a predictable level of activity throughout the building.

However, there are ways to prepare for your stay and communicate your preferences:
- You can request a quieter room away from busier areas.
- You can contact reception before arrival to understand the check-in procedure and hotel environment.
- You can discuss your preferences regarding room location and natural daylight.
- You can ask questions about the facilities and practical arrangements before committing to a reservation.
We believe it is important that you know what to expect before booking, rather than discovering after arrival that the environment does not meet your needs.

If you have specific sensory requirements, please contact us in advance. We will be happy to discuss them honestly and explain which requests we can accommodate.

"Can I request a quiet room and avoid unnecessary interaction or unexpected disturbances during my stay?"

Yes. You can request a quieter room before arrival and explain your preferences to our reception team. You can also use the Do Not Disturb function in your room to indicate that you do not want housekeeping to enter for routine cleaning.
If you prefer to prepare for your arrival in advance, you can contact the hotel to ask about check-in, room allocation and other practical arrangements.

"Can XO Hotel Inner help us prepare our autistic child for an unfamiliar hotel environment?"

Yes. We encourage parents to contact the hotel before arrival and explain which aspects of the stay may be challenging for their child.

You can ask about the room layout, available room types, check-in procedure and possibilities for a quieter room. Our team can explain what to expect and note your preferences in the reservation.

We cannot guarantee specific sensory adjustments, but discussing your child's needs beforehand can help you prepare for a more comfortable stay.

"Can I book a room with limited natural light if bright daylight is uncomfortable for me?"

XO Hotel Inner offers basement rooms and rooms without windows, in addition to standard rooms with natural daylight.
A room without a window may be worth considering if you prefer to avoid changing daylight levels. However, it will not offer an outside view or natural daylight. Basement rooms are also located below street level.
We recommend discussing your preferences with the hotel before booking so you can choose the room category that best suits your needs.

"Can I be guaranteed a quiet room away from other guests, corridors or street noise?"

You can request a quieter room when making your reservation. XO Hotel Inner is located on a relatively quiet street in the Museum Quarter, rather than directly on one of Amsterdam's busiest shopping or nightlife streets.
Our team will do its best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. However, we cannot guarantee complete silence or a room entirely isolated from other hotel guests and everyday hotel sounds.

"Can I find out what to expect before arriving so that I can prepare myself for the hotel stay?"

Absolutely. You are welcome to contact XO Hotel Inner before your arrival with questions about the hotel, room categories, check-in procedure and facilities.
Our reception team is available 24 hours a day, and you can discuss your preferences in advance rather than having to explain everything when you arrive.
