There is a 10% discount on the daily price for all direct bookings made via our own booking site, via email and via phone. The discount is already calculated in our offer.
The price is always lower when you book directly with the hotel, than when you book through an online agent/booking website.
That depends on how you made the booking and with which rates. You can find the information on the booking website or on your booking confirmation.
The cancellation policy for the standard rate booked directly with the hotel (website, e-mail, telephone) is better and more flexible than when booked via an online agent / booking website.
Minimum one person per room needs to be 18 years or older on the day of arrival.
If you would like to stay with us with a group (six rooms or more), please contact us by email for a suiting offer.
Maximum one child up to 2 years old can stay in the room free of charge. We can, on request, place a cot in the room (free if the room reservation has been made directly with the hotel, otherwise €10 per stay).
For children from 3 years old it is necessary to book and pay for their own bed.
It is not possible to place an extra bed in the room. If, for example, you want to stay with three or four people, it is necessary to book a triple or quadruple room.
That is possible if you have booked directly with us. If you send us an email with all the details of your booking (hotel name, names of guests, reservation number, arrival and departure date), then we can check if we have received the booking.
If you have reserved through a different website, please contact that website for a reconfirmation.
We can email you a confirmation with signature and stamp when you pay the first night of your reservation. This is a non-refundable fee, in case of cancellation of your reservation we will not refund this fee. Contact us by email for more information.
Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
We can make a note of your request for a certain room. The reception will do her utmost to arrange this for you, but can not guarantee this until the moment of arrival.
Our check-in time is 2 PM.
An early check-in is possible with a supplement of €5 per hour (e.g. if you want to check in at 11 AM, the supplement is €15). If you want to check in before 10 AM, you pay the daily rate of the day prior to your arrival.
The early check-in is subject to availability. The reception can check at the time of your arrival whether a room is already available and add the supplement for you.
It is always possible to keep your luggage in our luggage room free of charge, so you can go into town and start enjoying your stay in Amsterdam immediately.
Our reception is open 24 hours a day. If you arrive late, you can ring the door bell so the reception can open the door for you and can help you with the check in. Please let us know in case you will arrive later than 23.00 o’clock.
You can always enter the hotel, so you do not have to return at a certain time. You can ring the door bell to let the reception open the door for you.
You can reach the hotel from Schiphol airport by different means of transport. For the options, you can check our Location-page.
We do not have our own shuttle service.

If you come by car, you can park in the Q-Park car park on the Van Baerlestraat/Museumplein. This costs €55 per day. You can also park in one of the surrounding streets (paid parking).
An alternative solution is parking in the public parking garage Olympisch Stadion on a P&R spot. Look here for more information about P&R and the rates.
When you arrive by bus, you can park at the Q-Park car park at the Van Baerlestraat / Museumplein. Costs are €55 per day.

The hotel is located in a quiet street in walking distance from the Museum Square.
Dam Square can be reached by tram in approx. 15 minutes.
The nearest tram stop is Concertgebouw, a 2-minute walk away.

If you make a reservation, we will ask for aan immediate payment by credit card, Paypal or bank card.
For your and our safety we do not accept cash payments.
It is not possible to book on account with us. All payments need to be made prior to check in.
You can pay in advance via an online payment link. If you contact us, we can send you an online payment link.
If you have made a direct booking or a booking through Booking.com it is possible to receive an invoice of your stay after check out. In case you have booked through an online agent/booking website, you will have to ask them for an invoice.
If the invoice must be on a company name, we would like to receive the name and address details well in advance of your check out.
The room has a sitting area, desk, telephone, flat screen television, Nespresso machine, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, towels and guest supplies like shampoo.
There is a safe in every room. We advise you to keep your valuables in the safe during your stay.
In the bathroom of your room you will find a hairdryer.
There is no iron and ironing board in the room.
There is no fridge in the room.
At the reception you can buy an adapter from the vending machine.
Your room can be cleaned every day. If you do not want to be disturbed during your stay, you can use the Do not disturb panel.
In case of a large number of check-outs, the rooms of departing guests will be cleaned first. As a result, your room may not be cleaned until later in the day.
If housekeeping is no longer available, you can obtain clean towels and guest supplies from reception.
There is an elevator in the hotel. Not all rooms can be reached by elevator.
We do not have special disabled rooms.
Our hotel is 100% non-smoking. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is strictly forbidden in all buildings. In case of violation, you will be fined €200 and asked to leave the hotel immediately, without refund of any room charges already paid.
In most of our rooms the windows can be opened ajar. We have some rooms where the windows cannot be opened.
We offer free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel. You will receive the password for the Wi-Fi upon check in.
On the ground floor we have 1 computer with a printer that can be used free of charge.
The hotel does not have a laundry service.
The hotel is located near various shops, including supermarkets.
We rent bikes for €18 per day.
We work with the tour company Tours&Tickets and can book all excursions offered by them. On our Tours&Excursions-page you can find more information about the excursions.
That is possible, if there are no costs to be paid upon receipt and it does not need to be signed for. Please let us know in advance if you are sending us a package. Please mention clearly on the envelope/package for whom it is intended and what the arrival date of the guest is.

Our hotels are completely non-alcoholic. It is allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks and drink these in your hotel room.
Our check out time is 11 AM. It is always possible to leave your luggage in our luggage room free of charge.
