RESERVATIONS

You can reserve with 10% discount through our website, by email, or by phone .

There is a 10% discount on the daily price for all direct bookings made via our own booking site, via email and via phone. The discount is already calculated in our offer.
The price is always lower when you book directly with the hotel, than when you book through an online agent/booking website.

That depends on how you made the booking and with which rates. You can find the information on the booking website or on your booking confirmation.
The cancellation policy for the standard rate booked directly with the hotel (website, e-mail, telephone) is better and more flexible than when booked via an online agent / booking website.

Minimum one person per room needs to be 18 years or older on the day of arrival.

If you would like to stay with us with a group (six rooms or more), please contact us by email for a suiting offer.

Maximum one child up to 2 years old can stay in the room free of charge. We can, on request, place a cot in the room (free if the room reservation has been made directly with the hotel, otherwise €10 per stay).
For children from 3 years old it is necessary to book and pay for their own bed.

It is not possible to place an extra bed in the room. If you are staying with three or four persons, then it is necessary to book a triple or quadruple room. If you are staying with us with five persons or more, it is necessary to book multiple rooms.
Contact us by email or by phone to check the best options for your party and your stay.

That is possible if you have booked directly with us. If you send us an email with all the details of your booking (hotel name, names of guests, reservation number, arrival and departure date), then we can check if we have received the booking.
If you have reserved through a different website, please contact that website for a reconfirmation.

We can email you a confirmation with signature and stamp when you pay the first night. This is a non-refundable fee, in case of cancellation of your reservation we will not refund this fee. Contact by us email for more information.

We do not accept pets in our hotel, also not assistance dogs.

We can make a note of your request for a certain room. The reception will do her utmost to arrange this for you, but can not guarantee this until the moment of arrival.

ARRIVAL

Our check-in time is from 3 PM.

An early check-in is possible with a supplement of €5 per hour (e.g. if you want to check in at 11 AM, the supplement is €20). If you want to check in before 10 AM, you pay the daily rate of the day prior to your arrival.
The early check-in is subject to availability. The reception can check at the time of your arrival whether a room is already available and add the supplement for you.

It is always possible to keep your luggage in our luggage room free of charge, so you can go into town and start enjoying your stay in Amsterdam immediately.

Our reception is open 24 hours a day. If you arrive late, you can ring the door bell so the reception can open the door for you and can help you with the check in. Please contact us in case you will arrive later than 23.00 o’clock.

You can always enter the hotel, so you do not have to return at a certain time. You can ring the door bell to let the reception open the door for you.

DIRECTIONS

You can reach the hotel from Schiphol airport by different means of transport.

We do not have our own shuttle service.

The hotel does not have its own parking. There is a parking next to the hotel called Q-Park Parking de Bijenkorf. This parking is open 24 hours a day and has a height clearance of 1.95 m. For more information, please check the Q-Park website.

We do not have bus parking available. For information regarding parking for busses you can have a look at the tourbuzz website.

The hotel is located in the city centre, just around the corner of the Dam Square.

The closest tram stop is Damrak, at 250m, 2 minutes walking distance.

The hotel is located near various shops, including supermarkets.

PAYMENT

If you make a reservation, we will ask for a credit card to guarantee the reservation. A few days before arrival, we check that the credit card is valid by making an authorization on the card (authorization only, no payment). Payment for the room can be made on arrival by credit card (Visa, Amex or MasterCard) or pin. It is also possible to pay in advance by credit card, Paypal or bank. If you contact us, we can send you an online payment link.
For your and our safety we do not accept cash payments.

You can pay in advance by payment link with a credit card, debit card, Sofort Überweisung, Giropay or Alipay. Email us if you want this option, and we will send you a payment link.
We do not work with credit card authorization forms.

It is not possible to book on account with us. All payments need to be made prior to check in.

If you have made a direct booking or a booking through Booking.com it is possible to receive an invoice of your stay after check out. In case you have booked through an online agent/booking website, you will have to ask them for an invoice.
If the invoice must be on a company name, we would like to receive the name and address details well in advance of your check out.

FACILITIES

The room has a sitting area, desk, telephone, flat screen television, Nespresso machine, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, towels and guest supplies like shampoo.

There is a safe, which is big enough to hold a laptop. We advise you to keep your valuables in the safe during your stay.

In the bathroom of your room you will find a hair dryer.

There is no iron and ironing board. It is possible to borrow these at the reception, a deposit is required.

There is no minibar or fridge in the room. If you need to store your medications in a cool place, you can hand these to the reception who can keep it for you in a fridge.

You can borrow adapters for free at the reception, a deposit is required.

There is an elevator in the hotel. Not all rooms can be reached by elevator.

We do not have special disabled rooms.
Our hotel is not suitable for disabled and wheelchair users, because of the many stairs and steps that we have in the hotel and in the rooms. Please note that the hotel is located in a historic 18th century building. We do not have wheelchair accessible rooms and no special facilities are available. The bathrooms and showers have a small step and some rooms are only accessible with a step.

The hotel is 100% NON-smoking. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is strictly prohibited in the entire building. In case of violation, we will impose a fine of €200 upon you and you are requested to leave the hotel immediately, without restitution of already paid room costs.

In most of our rooms the windows can open ajar. We have a few rooms in which the windows can not be opened.

We offer free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel. At the reception you will receive the log in details.

On the ground floor you can find two internet computers connected to a printer which you can use free of charge.

The hotel does not have its own laundry service. You can go to the self-service laundry: Happy Inn in the Warmoesstraat or Aquarette in the Oudeburgsteeg.

The hotel is located near various shops, including supermarkets.

At XO Hotels City Centre we do not offer bike rental. There are many bike rentals close to the hotel. The reception can give you tips when you are in the hotel.

We work with the tour company Tours&Tickets and can book all excursions offered by them. On our Tours&Excursions-page you can find more information about the excursions.

That is possible, if there are no costs to be paid upon receipt and it does not need to be signed for. Please contact us in advance if you are sending us a package. Please mention clearly on the envelope/package for whom it is intended and what the arrival date of the guest is. Our address is: Beursstraat 11-19, 1012JT Amsterdam.

Our restaurant is not open for lunch.

Our restaurant is not open for dinner. Our reception can advise you with good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We do not have a bar in the hotel.

We are completely non-alcoholic. It is allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks and drink these in your hotel room.

DEPARTURE

Our check out time is 11 AM. It is always possible to leave your luggage in our luggage room free of charge.
If you would like to stay longer in the room, it is possible upon request for €10 per hour, maximum until 15.00 o’clock.

That is possible if there is availability. Please contact the reception for the possibilities and the best price.

It is always possible to leave your luggage with us in the luggage room on your arrival and departure day. It is not possible to keep your luggage whilst you are not staying with us in the hotel.

Of course! The reception is happy to call a taxi for you.

If you have made a direct booking or a booking through Booking.com it is possible to receive an invoice of your stay after check out. In case you have booked through an online agent/booking website, you will have to ask them for an invoice.
If the invoice must be on a company name, we would like to receive the name and address details well in advance of your check out.

AFTER DEPARTURE

Please contact us by email or phone . We will check if we have found your item and can send it to you. There will be costs for the shipment.

Please contact us by email. With your credit card details we can contact our credit card provider who can assist your bank to cancel the authorization on your credit card.

OTHER

We are sorry to hear you have a complaint. If you are still staying in the hotel, please contact the reception so we can solve this immediately.
